Tywanna Neal - Owner
Before I took my first trip and experienced the joy of being 30,000 feet in the air among the pillows of white clouds, I, Tywanna, was 30 years old. I knew I wanted to become a world traveler, so the travel passion began. Since taking that first flight, I've traveled to places like Italy, Dubai, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, London, etc. I even made a solo vacation to Hawaii for my 40th birthday. A year after that first flight, in 2007, I knew I was a globetrotter turned travel agent.
Travel Tips
Take a picture of your passport and travel itinerary and send a copy to a relative or close friend. If lost, you will have photo copies.
A week before traveling - google the weather for your destination. You will have a better idea of the types of clothes you will need.
Download a translator APP to your phone. It could help with communicating with the natives.
Order currency for your international destination from your bank. Order plenty of small bills which can be used for tipping at the airport and upon arriving at your hotel.
Different countries use different size plugs and voltage. Bring a universal adapter and power strip.
Pack small snacks that travel well, such as nuts, hard candy, fruit and granola bars. These items could help tide you over if there are delays getting to your next meal.
If you are a shopper, bring at least two pieces of luggage and leave one less than half full. This may prevent a packing issue when its time to pack for that return flight.
Bring an extra charger for your mobile devices, just in case you lose one or it stops charging.
